SHOWBIZ LIFE :

I entered showbiz when I was 8 or 9 years old through ABS-CBN's tween show "Ang TV". After a year, I decided to leave so I could focus on my studies.

I reentered showbiz 3 years ago through PBB (PINOY BIG BROTHER).

YOUR MOST CHALLENGING ROLE?

Playing a rebel leader in GMA-7's "Zorro". Thanks to you, I did well. (I think)

WHAT KIND OF ROLES WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY?

A lot! Bring it on!

YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE AND HOW DID YOU COPE WITH IT?

My voice cracked while singing on stage. I kept singing as if nothing happened.

YOUR MOST UNFORGETTABLE WORK EXPERIENCE?

Working with veterans who share their acting techniques with me.

It's always nice to work with people like them.

ON CRITICISMS :

Expect it! People will always have something to say.

Don't let yourself get too affected.

If the criticisms are valid, work on it!

Best attitude: PROVE THEM WRONG!

ON REJECTIONS :

I didn't get picked in a lot of auditions too!

Just keep on going to all of them.

And while waiting, keep working on your craft.

If you're serious about it, your time will come.

THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH REJECTIONS, CRITICISMS, SCANDALS AND INTRIGUES?

Prove them wrong.

TO THOSE WHO DREAM OF ENTERING SHOWBIZ?

It's not as easy as it looks. But it's a fun business.

IF YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THINGS IN SHOWBIZ, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I'd eliminate the "palakasan" system.

Give breaks to those who deserve it.

ACTING TIPS TO "NEWBIES".

Use real emotions!

CAREER DEMAND :

Never waste time! In between projects or while waiting for one, continue improving your talents by attending workshops. You never know when a big break will come. And you better be ready when it does coz they don't come too often!
